Does Catholicism teaches a false gospel of works?

Can you tell me what this teaching is exactly..How it is taught....

They must have it written down someplace...Does Catholicism teaches a false gospel of works?
no.

Here is the Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification by Catholics (1999), Lutherans (1999), and Methodists (2006):

By grace alone, in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping us and calling us to good works.

With love in Christ.Does Catholicism teaches a false gospel of works?
CCC 847:

Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation.

This one sentence has caused all the hoopola between Catholics and Protestants.
They don't.

Although biblically you cannot count on works alone (which the Catholics DO NOT do -- it is faith combined with works they count on), faith alone does not suffice.

In the KJV of the Bible, James 2:17-26 reads as follows:

';17Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

18Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

21Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

22Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

23And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

24Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

25Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

26For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.';

This is the scripture the Catholics use to justify their stance.

Note the first 2 verses are in COMPLETE CONTRADICTION to the ';sola fidae'; (faith alone) doctrine used by many Protestants.

The sola scriptura doctrine is equally flawed according to the Bible, but that is another question entirely.
False gospel of works? Do you actually read your Bible? Check out the book of James starting at verse 2:14. I was raised as a Baptist, but I have to agree with the Catholics on this one. ';Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder.'; - James 2:18-19
we are moved by grace to works of love and charity towards our neighbor, and in the least of us all, as to Jesus. These are the deeds we shall be judged by. we are not saved by faith alone. so says the bible. If you want to know what the C church teaches, why dont you look it up on the internet under official catechism of the catholic church? Or go buy one, they sell them in most book stores now. try books a milion. Then you wont have to ask what catholics beleive, you can get your answers from the source itself.
We believe that we are saved by grace alone. Our faith is justified by our works (faith working through love). Apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Belief isn't enough. Even Satan knows the Truth, no?
Yes, sadly most Catholicisim does teach works. However, many Catholic churches teach the true gospel.
