Maybe I just didn't learn it in school, but it doesn't seem to be common knowledge like Pearl Harbor.

So, how many have the CIA killed by accident? Sometimes it just plain sucks being caught between a rock and a hard spot.
I thought I was the only one who knew about this event. The fact that no one knew then and not many know now leads me to believe that the media in this country is controlled. I think the whole thing was a travesty and the reason they tried to sink the ship was clear. They were eves dropping on the Israelis genocide/committing war crimes against the Egyptians.


And of course the guy above me who says that happened how long ago!! How long ago was a crime committed against the USA and no one was held accountable. Ya how long ago did the Holocaust happen? They at least got the Nuremberg Trials. How long will I have to hear Israel complain about the holocaust.
My take is, the incident you speak of is not even a footnote to history. So, it does not deserve a mention in school text books. Other than that, it is a well known incident to detractors of American-Israeli relations, and shall remain so.

We can’t have “Anti-Semitic” facts taught in our schools, let alone explain to our children what a “False Flag Event” is. Gee… next thing ya know, you’ll want freedom of Information, press and thought. You have to be kidding! :p
