Which specific churches teach that Evolution is false?

I'm not interested in why or any justifications, I just know that many churches teach that evolution is fine. If you were specifically taught at church that evolution is bad, what is the name of your church? (ie. Assembly of God, that sort of thing).Which specific churches teach that Evolution is false?
Most Baptists and Pentecostals do.

EDIT: thebabe1...Catholics are fine with evolution.Which specific churches teach that Evolution is false?
Baptists and fundamentalists are extremely threatened by evolution. The more conservative branches in general.

I don't think the catholics have too much issue with it.
I know the Nazarenes do.
Kate,

ANY ';Church'; that follows our FATHER'S Inspired WORD, the BIBLE teaches that evolution is a false doctrine. Have a great week.

Thanks,

.
church of God, my church...any church that is _REAL_. If you read the bible it states that, because it says that God made people in his imagine, and I don't believe he was a monkey. Read your bible.
Non-Denominational.

All churches are (should be) based on the Word of God, which preaches creationism.
Church of God/Pentecostal in the Bible Belt(AL)

Evolution hasn't been brought up since I've been going there, and I have never asked anybody else what their views on the subject are, but if I had to guess I would say that micro-evolution, or small changes within species, is excepted.

The Bible says to go forth and reproduce after your own kind, not species, which is why we have lots of breeds of different kinds of dogs, but they are all still dogs.

But I would doubt anyone would think that macro-evolution is true since it seems unlikely and there is little to no evidence to support it.
Well, our movement affiliates with the church of God (Anderson Indiana). I attend the, Dayspring ';church of 'GOD'';, which I affiliate with as a member of the local assembly or congregation, located in Forest Park, Ohio, one of the northern or northwestern suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio.

If you can swallow, again if you can swallow, the damnable practice and belief in abortion, and the damnable belief in Evolution (for if you can believe these two), Satan can tear down everything else you believe from the Bible.

The Bible is to be our only recognized creed. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. To accept evolution means that you do not believe the Bible for it tells us that everything made that was made or more pointedly created, was accomplished in 6 days and God chilled out on the 7th to admire His handiwork. It also means that God did not create male and female but that they evolved.
I'm apart of the Calvary Chapels and they don't hold to any teachings which contradict the Bible... evolution being one of them.
My church has had Sunday school classes regarding this. I think it is kept out of the main sermon, because not all people at the church believe this though.
Common sense and unbiased research teach that evolution is false! I don't need any church to teach me that!
I thought pretty much all of them except the Catholics, who don't take an issue with evolution.

Certainly the JW's and all the evangelicals.
It is the American Conservative churches that teach this. Quite a few of them.
I'd actually like you to name ONE church that believes in evolution....
Evolution is really not mentioned in the bible. Any church that takes on evolution is simply making an argument out of a modern-day precept (Darwin I believe was a 17th century theorist).

How about this to reconcile this issue: God created man in his image by evolution and is continuing to adjust this creation to further enhance that image. This is not counter to any church belief, it just expands on ';creation theory';.

Just something to ponder.
Fact is, there is no consensus view found even in congregations from the same denomination. It really depends on the position of the leadership in this regard, but as a VERY general rule (there are exceptions) - the more liberal churches lean toward excepting the GTE and the more conservative lean toward Creationism. although the vast majority of ALL groups treat in as either a non or ';too controversial to touch'; issue. The best way to determine what a particular congregations position is, is to ask the Pastor.

For the answerer who said something about naming one church that accepted evolution, here's a link about a several that celebrate Darwin's birthday with what they call ';Evolution Sunday';:

As a former one, I can testify that the Jehovah's witnesses do.
