Why do many false teachers with a degree in theology teach that Christians are not required to obey God's Law?

The ten commandments have never ever been altered or abolished in any way. The Bible is clear on this.

Because they don't understand the Scriptures. That is what Jesus said to the religious leaders in His day. ';Ye error in that you do not understand the scriptures nor the power of God.';Why do many false teachers with a degree in theology teach that Christians are not required to obey God's Law?
I have never met a Christian that says we are not required to follow the ten commandments. Other parts of the Old Law are not biinding on us (i.e. eating kocher) however the commandments stand.

Anyone with a degree in theology probably knows that the real Ten Commandments are in Exodus 34. Those, not the version in Exodus 20, are the ones referred to as the Ten Commandments. Do you keep the feast of unleavened bread? Do you sacrifice ';all that openeth the womb'; to God? Do all your males appear before God three times a year? What makes you think you're not required to obey those commandments?
Because they have been taught error and continue to teach error. They deny the work of God through the Holy Spirit of the writing on of the commandments on the circumcised heart.





Their heart is not right and will be dealt with accordingly. For God is the judge and will not be mocked.
gods law is simple love ... the ten comandments are a stolen script from egypt and the wording is slightly diffrent ';thou should not'; the choice is still yours if gods law is love then love them anyway
