Of course it's worse. A war can kill the body but false teaching about God kills the soul for all eternity. Absolute truth is not negotiable.Do you consider it worse to spread false teaching about God than defend your country in a war?

The Bible speaks over and over about how much God hates false prophecy. False prophecy is false teaching about God. I can't think of a single verse relating to God hating defense of one's country in war.

Considering God commanded David as a man of war it's very clear that what God thinks and what man thinks are two different things.

Revelation 21:8b ';....and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.';
Oh that's right! JW's don't believe there's a lake that burns with fire and brimstone either.
I think spreading a false teaching about God is one of the worse things anyone could do, with the exception of Murder or Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
If I may note this, the mere contemplation of such a gruesome set of alternatives has something of the perverse in it.

First of all, there is nothing wrong with defending your country.
Second, God is above the things of this world. Countries will fade away but God will still be there.
Defending your country in times of war is a solemn duty. Lying about GOD? Much worse.
