Anybody else besides me believe that the universal church movement is false teaching?

Had somebody on RnS suggest I go to tentmaker.org to find out that if you die without Christ as your Lord and Saviour, that you can still reside with Him in Heaven after you die.Anybody else besides me believe that the universal church movement is false teaching?
The universal church is not teaching the Bible.

REad also about THE EMERGING CHURCH. Same thing basically.

ITs all about us and not about God.

Leads to the same kind of thinking as Oprahs course on A COURSE IN MIRACLES%26gt;

We need only know and follow the word of God to be in Heaven we must be born again and living like JESus. There is no other way folks. Run from false teachings.

God says if it doesnt check out with His word, it is false religion. IN these last days, so much deception is coming in. WE must know God and His word and love Him enough to obey all of His commands.

God bless you for asking.

Sister ShirleyAnybody else besides me believe that the universal church movement is false teaching?
Anyone who teaches there is any other way to the Father, but through Jesus Christ, are of the devil and are deceivers.
The church that Christ built is universal Matt. 16:18,19. No movement needed!

Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
They are a little screwy in their beliefs. I think anytime you stray away from Biblical teachings, you're dabbling in the realm of false teachings. We aren't supposed to make church fit us, we are supposed to change ourselves to be more and more like Christ.
The scriptures are clear if you reject the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross for you then you go to hell. All those in hell will be judged at the white throne judgment and then be cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20: 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and deat h and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Revelation 20: 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20: 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
nice outlook but i'm traditional catholic so i believe that ths is you 1 and only chance
Acts 4:12 (King James Version)

12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

John 14:

6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

';And THIS is eternal life, that they might KNOW You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.'; John 17:3
I believe we all go to God when we die.

I believe He decides whether we come back or not.
read some at the web site and it sounds a bit strange and off the mark of the Bible...
Well I don't know anything about ';tentmaker.org'; but it is a complete false gospel if they say that people are saved without Jesus. All false gospels lead to the eternal lake of fire (Galatians 1:6-9).

The only way to be saved is by believing the Gospel.
Oh yeah...that's one huge pile of manure...nearly as bad as the Jim Jones bunch...think they're stock piling kool aid???
It's only a matter of opinion but if you are a Christian and you believe what the bible says, then the only way to get to heaven is through Jesus Christ the Savior
Noone can go to Heaven without Jesus. Noone.

The universal church will lead to the one world religion and government.

WE must know and watch and beware of such things.

For such deception is coming in times such as these.

Last Days.....
There are orthodox streams of Christian Universalist thinking and heretical streams of Universalist thinking... Orthodox Universalists can back up a lot of basic facts about God's future reconciliation of all from correct translations of the New Testament Greek scriptures...

You might want to see my page of bible references that support the universalist doctrine:

Universalist Christians can still have Christ, they're just a lot more open minded about it. Whether you need Christ or not is subjective to the individual. Of course Christians think Jesus was the messiah. There's a reason they're called Christians.

Certain universal truths cannot apply to all. So, unless tolerance and acceptance are false teachings...I fail to see what the problem is.
