well i took the liberty of surfing through the old testament


and was shocked by what i read it seems the people we worship and learn from are the type of people that we know throw in jail !


one line read something like -if he shall try to draw you from god


you must strike him to death blah blah blah, you know the vibe


so i asked my uncle who teaches religious education and he confirmed that that most major religions promote belief in their god


over the the lives of others and that the bible is far from the civilized bubble we put it in today he said if Christians and Muslims


were to follow their holy book without scrutiny


they simply would not be able to socialize or function in a secular


nation


and it made me think


if i were to truly believe that there was a book sent from the divine creator i wouldn't care about the words of man nor would i allow others to commit religious atrocities against my belief system

The Christian god makes man human, then burns him when he acts like one.Can anyone mention some evil consequences of false teaching and prophecies?
People waste their money and lives listening to liars, when they could be out enjoying themselves.





And I don't distinguish between 'false teaching' and 'religion in general'.
I'm surprised no-one's mentioned one of the most evil consequences of all: society's hatred and subjugation of women - yes, even in Western society it still exists. Christianity's to blame for that.

Aren't all religious teachings false? I don't think man at this time can prove the relevance of any organized religion, quite on the contrary actually. Agnosticism = the only logical choice.





I guess the consequences are to the people who follow them, wasting their time and energy on blind faith and fear.

I think the biggest, most destructive, and easiest


accepted false teaching, is that good people will not suffer at all.


This will cause the ';falling away first'; described in the Word. People turning from God and cursing Him when


they have to suffer a little. And that rejection will keep


them from getting the reward promised to the faithful!
Oh, yeah. The Bible is chock-full of them. God says that upon His return, He will visit the churches first, and that judgement begins at the pulpit. Those that teach mans word instead of Gods Word will have the support beam of their church pulled out so that the building will come down on their heads. God has a number of times referred to many of the end-time churches as being in Hebrew, a ';Beth-aven'; meaning a house of nothing.


He says that those false teachers who teach out of their own minds have not been sent by Him. He also says that those Christians who just listen to whatever the pastor says without reading Gods Word for themselves to be sure it is the truth from God, they will be guilty right along with the false teacher.


There is one specific false teaching mentioned specifically that God says ';I hate';. The consequence of this false teaching is far more serious than most think. You will find it in Ezekial 13, down around the 18th verse or so to start. Have you ever heard of the rapture? Well, the word rapture isn't in the Bible, but it is taught by thousands of churches today. Its sometimes known as the fly-away doctrine. You know, they have pictures of cars crashing because the ';good'; christians have been raptured out before the bad old Antichrist comes and reeks havoc on the people who are left behind, because they have been bad? Its false doctrine.


In Ezek.13 God says ';I hate those who teach my people to fly to save their souls';. Anyway, this is the serious consequence of that teaching, with is totally unbiblical: (bear with me, i need to give a bit of background so you'll understand).There are 7 trumps, and on the 6th trump, Antichrist comes pretending to be Christ - he'll come in just like you would think Christ would come, all love, tolerance, a chicken in every pot, pay your bills, the whole love thing - biggest religious revival of all time. This will deceive millions of people, because he will look and act like Christ, not the terrible scary devil with a pitchfork. The Bible says that the majority of church going christians will be deceived, and will think it is Christ. Now, on the 7th trump, the real Christ comes back. The false rapture doctrine tells people that they will be raptured out before antichrist comes. But antichrist is coming first - so the first ';jesus'; they see coming, they will believe it really is Jesus come to rapture them out. Its the false Christ.


If they listened to Gods Word instead of some false teacher, they would have known that. When The real Christ gets back, they will wish rocks to fall on them and kill them instead of facing the true Christ. They will have all whored after Satan (I am not being vulgar - thats Gods choice of words, not mine). So the consequence of this particular false teaching, according to Gods Word, is that it will lead millions to worship satan. How happy do you think God will be them?
War, poverty and death.
Of course the evil consequences are it is sending yourself and people who believe to hell. xx
Well ther's been lots of cases around the world of people commiting mass suicides because some prophet (false prophets by the way) thought the world was coming to an end.





Not to mention the billion (maybe hyperbolic) cases of cannibalism.
Vengance of God?
Teachings are based a given perception of the reality.


Prophecies are made to win the confidence of the faithful.





There is no evil consequence.





The teacher gains money and is assured of his daily pizza %26amp; coke


The Prophecy maker gains fame and thus wealth.
According to the bible false teachers and those who floow them will be thrown in the lake of fire. That is if you belive the bible which I don't.
The drifting to immorality and serious sin but would not be fully culpable for them

The sequence of events is very important.


Satan returns first posing as Christ claiming to be God.





The true Christ does not return until the seventh trump.
