Don't you think that the word carnal is misuse today to the point of false teaching?

Can you give an example?Don't you think that the word carnal is misuse today to the point of false teaching?
To go after the desires of our own flesh is being carnal....one is in danger of falling a prey to sin. and death

To listen to God's wisdom and heed His commandments is being spiritual....one can earn salvation and eternal life. --Romans 8:6-8Don't you think that the word carnal is misuse today to the point of false teaching?
words can change meanings and inference over time.

'Carnal' is something of an archaic term meaning 'of or relating to the flesh' and was used by puritanical thinkers to denote something awful and ungodly such as snogging.
I think we are carnal beings and to deny that is the greater sin. It is to deny what you are.

We are wretched, wretched people....
