Generally speaking, is it easier to accept the false teaching if the messenger is nice?

false teaching is false teaching no matter how the approach is being done.Generally speaking, is it easier to accept the false teaching if the messenger is nice?
Generally yes. There's a reason why people easily believe what their parents say. If you like somebody it is harder to view what they say critically than it is when you don't like the messenger.

That is no excuse to not use your own brain though.Generally speaking, is it easier to accept the false teaching if the messenger is nice?
It's just as deadly spiritually
No. I am as firm with them as I am the aggressive ones.
To the ones that don't read and study the Holy Bible it is. But folks like me, it's impossible to believe anything but the Holy Bible. If it's not in there, it ain't true.
Well than how many people will claim to be a messenger?
I don't think it has anything to do with being nice. It has everything to do with the charisma of the individual. If the person can draw others into themselves, make the message relevant to the day, then anyone can be hooked.

Is this mass hysteria? I do not believe so, but it easily shows how many can be drawn in by a single individual. Take celebrities for example. Others are drawn to them by what they do and how ';well'; they do it. Or, people flock to them by who they are. Whatever the case may be it only takes one to create a following. But you have to be able to connect. Therefore I think the person has to be as nearly as big as the message. Good question though.
No, in order to accept a teaching one must contemplate it with an open, but balanced mind and accept it to be truth after scrutiny.
If they are teaching you about life as they see it, or religion as they see it, then it is NOT false teaching. If they are teaching you that 2+2=7 then that is false teaching. I would expect you to use your own brain on that one.
Your probably right to some respect. Most false teachers are nice yet true teachers that preach the bible are also nice
the problem is that if you know the message is false, it doesn't matter how nice the messenger is, they are still giving a false teaching. at the point I realized the message was false, I'd feel a conviction to seek someone who could give me truth
