Certainly.
';Spiritual'; essentially means anything that relates to or affects the human spirit or soul.
A False Teaching or a Lie could very well have in impact on one's spirituality.
Peace. :)
Update: On the contrary I think a person's spirituality is limited by his or her own capabilities to learn and grow in his or her spirituality.
Wkipedia's definition of spirituality is one of many definitions; I wouldn't limit my research to just that website.
Spirituality is not always clearly defined. Spirituality can be exemplified in many ways, some of those ways are not so common. Have you ever stopped to listen to the birds? Have you ever just enjoyed it without really defining why? Have you ever awakened to a beautiful morning, so happy that you are so thankful to be alive; yet, you can't really describe why that is? Have you ever just sat there and just let yourself be, feeling a sure peace; though you don't know where it came from or how it came so suddenly?
I don't think spirituality is limited at all. Each person has a different spiritual experience since we each have our own individual souls. When we let toxicity, prejudices, hate, close-minded, negativity of the world interfere, that is where we find our limitations.
Our spirituality is not only about exploring, learning, growing in or sharing our personal beliefs, it is also about the things that have an impact on us, both good and bad. Also, it's about the affect our own spirituality has one someone else's. One reason why I try to tread lightly and be respectful, loving and graceful to others. I don't always get it right but you know, my spiritual journey is far from over.
